Senior Fabricator & Assembler
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Senior Fabricator & Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling components with precision while ensuring all quality and safety standards are met. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to further develop their technical skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures according to specifications.
Read and follow work instructions, technical drawings, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
Perform mechanical inspections to verify proper fit, function, and quality of completed assemblies.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely to move products and materials as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical issues during the assembly process.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production schedules and quality objectives.
Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, or a warehouse environment.
Strong experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Forklift operating experience is considered an asset.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
Good understanding of manufacturing and warehouse safety practices.
