An exciting and growing entertainment and hospitality venue is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead business development and private event sales. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and creating memorable guest experiences.
This role is responsible for driving revenue through corporate events, team-building activities, birthday parties, holiday celebrations, fundraisers, social gatherings, and other private events. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable networking in the community, prospecting for new business, and delivering exceptional customer service throughout the booking process.
Responsibilities
- Generate new event and group bookings through networking, prospecting, referrals, and community outreach.
- Develop relationships with local businesses, schools, sports organizations, charities, and community groups.
- Respond to event inquiries promptly and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Conduct venue tours and present customized event packages.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate and repeat clients.
- Coordinate event details with internal operations to ensure seamless execution.
- Attend networking events and represent the business professionally within the community.
- Maintain accurate sales records and follow-up activities using CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in event sales, hospitality sales, business development, hotel sales, or a related field.
- Proven ability to generate new business and consistently achieve sales targets.
- Strong networking, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized with excellent time-management abilities.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and results-oriented.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with an operations team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software is considered an asset.

Compensation
Competitive base salary plus commission and performance incentives.
