Our client, a leading organization in the technology and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Observability Platform Engineer to join their team. As a Observability Platform Engineer, you will be part of the BAM and RPA Department supporting infrastructure, development, support, and database teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Remote (Hybrid – 1 day/week onsite, Wednesday mandatory) in Mississauga, ON
Pay Range:$70
What's the Job?
- Lead migration from on-prem monitoring tools to SaaS-based Dynatrace platform.
- Design architecture, data flow, and security guardrails for the new observability platform.
- Configure dashboards, alerts, and monitoring frameworks to meet organizational needs.
- Onboard and migrate existing infrastructure such as VMs, OpenShift clusters, and applications.
- Perform deep root cause analysis and optimize observability solutions for better performance.
What's Needed?
- Strong hands-on experience with Dynatrace, including dashboard creation, alert configuration, and agent deployment.
- Solid Linux/Unix (Red Hat) background with scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with monitoring/observability implementations or migrations, especially on-prem to SaaS.
- Familiarity with infrastructure components such as virtualization, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and cloud platforms like Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently in a greenfield build environment.
