This will be a great opportunity for someone that wants to make extra money with a second job or potentially someone that wants to move towards more full time. The average hourly wage with tips will between $25 - $35+ dollars, with the potential to make more on busy weekend nights.
Our bar is a historic, fun-loving establishment where you can experience great drinks and good times with every visit. Our pub has been operating since the 1940's and is steeped in interesting history. It looks like an rural pub from the English countryside but we do not serve food, only light snacks & drinks.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision and be a team player. Bartenders/servers must be hard-working, have a positive attitude, be very friendly and be familiar with serving a wide range of drinks.
This part-time position could lead to full-time for the right candidate with shifts on the evenings and weekends.
Our team love and respect our historic building; work together to cover and help each other out with professionalism. An ability to work within a team and to treat your co-workers and customers with respect is an absolute must.
Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional level of service to customers who are both local regulars and cabin/vacation home residents
- Maintain a clean & stocked bar
- Assist with Managing the bar inventory.
- Assist with events and reservations
- Work with other staff to monitor for minors & keep the pub a fun safe place for everyone. Our pub does not have a license to allow minors. 19 + only.
Serving experience is not required as we will train the right candidate but some experience is preferred. Ability to work weekend nighs
Wage is $$18.25 an hour plus normally very generous tips and a very low tip out.
Serving It Right and Lottery Certification will be required.
