Overview
We are a busy, physician-led practice seeking a versatile Registered Psychologist to support a high-volume and diverse referral stream. This is a unique hybrid opportunity that allows you to provide virtual care for adults while utilizing a dedicated pediatric clinic space in Ajax for in-person assessments and treatment. You will step into an immediate and consistent patient flow, eliminating the need for self-marketing or building your own caseload.
Compensation & Work Model
This role operates on a tiered revenue split model, offering flexibility based on your preferred level of autonomy:
Model A: Full Practice Support (60/40 Split)
- Clinic manages all intake, scheduling, billing, and admin
- You focus entirely on clinical care and documentation
Model B: Independent Administration (70/30 Split)
- Clinic provides referrals and clinic space
- You manage your own scheduling, billing, and patient coordination
Scope of Practice
Your caseload will include a mix of adult and pediatric clients:
- Adult Sleep & Neurodiversity (Virtual)
- Deliver evidence-based interventions such as CBT-I and behavioral strategies for insomnia and ADHD
- Pediatric Behavioral & Sleep Cases (In-Person & Virtual)
- Support children with sleep challenges, ADHD, and behavioral concerns(Some pediatric cases require in-person sessions at our Ajax clinic)
- Clinical Collaboration
- Work alongside referring physicians to provide integrated, multidisciplinary care
Hybrid Schedule
Your schedule will include a combination of remote and in-person work.
The balance will be determined collaboratively based on patient needs and your availability.
Requirements
- Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario (CPO)
- Experience in CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I)
- Strong background in pediatric behavioral interventions
- Experience working with ADHD (children and adults)
- Ability to commute to Ajax, ON for in-person pediatric sessions
- Strong communication and clinical collaboration skills
