We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial, industrial, or residential settings
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as wiring, conduit installation, and component assembly
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to understand project requirements
- Support the setup of low voltage systems and assist with troubleshooting electrical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency on job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimize hazards during electrical work
- Learn to identify different types of electrical components and materials used in various projects
- Participate in training sessions to develop skills related to blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and electrical code compliance
Requirements
- Basic knowledge or interest in electrical systems; prior construction or electrical experience is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction practices
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions carefully
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and working at heights if necessary
- Prior experience with low voltage systems or blueprint reading is preferred but not mandatory
