Job Description
STEMstein Academy is looking for an experienced LEGO Robotics Instructor to teach robotics classes to elementary and middle school students. The instructor will guide students in building, programming, and testing robots using LEGO robotics kits through fun and interactive hands-on activities.
The role focuses on helping students understand basic robotics, engineering, and coding concepts while encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork in a supportive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach robotics classes using LEGO robotics kits
- Guide students in building and programming robots
- Teach basic coding concepts using Scratch
- Introduce students to 3D design and 3D printing concepts
- Support students during robotics and engineering projects
- Prepare classroom materials and assist with activity setup
- Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
Requirements:
- 3–4 years of experience working with LEGO robotics
- Knowledge of Scratch programming
- Basic understanding of 3D printing and 3D design tools
- Experience teaching or mentoring children (elementary or middle school)
- Background in robotics, engineering, computer science, or a related STEM field
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners in STEM
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
