We currently have an opportunity for a Store Manager of our Cash and Carry location. In this role, you will provide and communicate the strategic direction and vision for the location. You will manage all facets of the operations and ensure operational excellence in retailing merchandising, inventory management, employee engagement and customer engagement and relations. You will coach and develop the team to provide superior customer service and shopping experiences achieved through execution and strategy, customized for the local market in an engaging working environment, while achieving budgeted financial results. You will be part of our Family nurturing families.
Here’s where you’ll have an impact:
- Create a coaching and development culture for all store employees
- Oversee total store talent management including recruitment, orientation, training, performance management, and compensation
- Responsible for ensuring the communication of operational requirements/changes, and store vision to store employees
- Understand and respond to local market needs
- Role model, coach, and reinforce customer service expectations daily for all staff
- Ensure all applicable company policies and procedures are communicated and adhered to.
- Responsible for ensuring that OH&S, Food Safety, and other regulatory requirements and procedures, are implemented and maintained
- Responsible to ensure efficient operation of the business to achieve all financial targets and deliver on budgeted KPIs
- Ensure implementation of business/merchandising plans
What you bring to the table:
- High school diploma with minimum of three to five years’ experience in a retail environment
- Post-secondary diploma (or a two-year program) or equivalent preferred
- Full knowledge of retail operations and demonstrated customer focus.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft office suite
- Strong ability to communicate (oral and written) with all lines of the business
- Ability to lead, motivate, inspire, and develop team members
- Managing for results and ability to make decision/problem solve
