Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, construction materials, windows and doors, manufacturing, or related industries.
This role includes a competitive hourly base wage plus a gross profit-based commission structure, rewarding profitable sales growth and long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase company revenue and market presence
- Identify and build relationships with builders, contractors, developers, architects, distributors, and dealers
- Generate new leads and convert opportunities into sales
- Manage existing customer accounts and maintain strong relationships
- Understand customer project requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations
- Negotiate pricing and contracts while maintaining company margins
- Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure customer expectations are met
- Track sales activities, customer opportunities, and market trends
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Compensation Structure
- Base Pay: $25–$30/hour (based on experience)
- Performance-based commission tied to gross profit generated
- Opportunity for increased earnings based on sales performance
Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years of sales experience (B2B sales preferred)
- Experience in windows, doors, construction materials, or manufacturing sales is an asset
- Proven ability to develop new business and close sales
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and commercial clients
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage sales activities effectively
