Job: General Labourer (Carpet Removal & Demolition)
Location: Moose Jaw, SK (close to intersection of 9th Ave NW and Thatcher Dr)
Hourly pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
NOTE: This job is located in MOOSE JAW, SK. Worker must have access to reliable transportation to reach work in all weather conditions, on time.
We are currently hiring General Labourers for a project in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, near the intersection of Thatcher Drive and 9th Avenue NW. This role involves carpet removal and general demolition-related labour. We are looking for dependable individuals who are comfortable with physical work and using basic hand tools in a fast-paced environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in construction, demolition, renovation, flooring removal, or general labour.
- Remove carpet, carpet padding, and related flooring materials
- Use hand tools safely and effectively to assist with removal tasks
- Load, carry, and dispose of removed materials
- Clean and prepare work areas
- Follow site safety procedures and company policies
- Assist team members with general labour duties as required
- Maintain a productive and professional work environment
- Previous experience in general labour, demolition, construction, renovation, or flooring removal is an asset
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- CSA Steel-toe safety boots, Hard Hat and Safety Vest required
- Repetitive lifting and carrying of materials
- Frequent bending, kneeling, and twisting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely
- Comfortable working in a construction or renovation environment
