Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team in Alberta. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and their properties. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining a secure environment and upholding our commitment to exceptional service.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, providing first aid when necessary.
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV and other monitoring systems.
- Enforce laws and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Manage conflicts effectively and de-escalate potential issues.
- Collaborate with law enforcement as needed during incidents.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies to protect client assets.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid security guard license or certification.
- Strong knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures.
- Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and CCTV operations.
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
