Queensdale Clinic is looking for a passionate and skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team. As a nurse at our clinic, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals, providing comprehensive care to our patients in the Hamilton area. With a focus on delivering compassionate and patient-centered care, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the health and well-being of our community.
Position Summary
As one of two RPN's, you'll be working closely with the physicians, providing essential clinical support to our practice. Your role will involve assisting the physicians as needed. You'll also have the opportunity to perform various procedures within the nursing scope of practice. Additionally, you'll be responsible for some nurse-only appointments, history taking, and communicating test results to patients over the phone.
Must Have:
- Current registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Membership with the RPNAO
- Proficiency in computer usage
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skill Set:
- Experience with Telus PS Suites
- Primary care experience (we will provide primary care training to ensure your success in the role)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
