Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team in supporting various outdoor and maintenance projects. This role involves hands-on work in landscape maintenance, gardening, and general site upkeep. Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and pruning
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruning shears to support gardening activities
- Use power tools for tasks like edging, trimming, and installation work
- Support irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
- Perform general site cleanup and debris removal to maintain a tidy work environment
- Follow safety protocols during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries
- Dump runs must wear reflective gear provided by employer
Experience
- Prior experience with horticulture or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment is a plus
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is beneficial
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods are essential
- Willingness to learn new skills related to landscape care and site maintenance
- Must be able to lift over 30 pounds
