(AIBC Licensed Architect)

We are looking to add an experienced Architect registered with the Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC) to our expanding team. This role will lead architectural design, contract administration, and project coordination for a variety of new construction, rehabilitation, and building renewal projects throughout British Columbia.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Architect will report to upper management and be responsible for the design, coordination, and delivery of projects from conceptual design through construction completion. This position places a strong emphasis on client communication, consultant coordination, technical design, and contract administration.
Below is a typical list of duties and requirements:
- Lead architectural projects from schematic design through construction completion.
- Provide architectural design leadership and technical direction throughout all phases of the project.
- Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary consultant teams.
- Oversee the preparation and review of architectural drawings, specifications, permit submissions, and tender documents.
- Administer construction contracts, including field reviews, site instructions, change orders, and certification of payment applications.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, municipalities, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure projects comply with the BC Building Code, municipal bylaws, and applicable regulations.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff and architectural technologists.
- Seal architectural documents where required and assume professional responsibility for project deliverables.
The successful candidate must possess a valid BC Driver's Licence.
HOW TO APPLY:
Pay: $95,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
