Position Summary:
The Shipper & Receiver plays a key role in managing the flow of goods into and out of the warehouse. Responsible for overseeing deliveries, ensuring accuracy, maintaining safety standards, and supporting smooth operations, this role is vital to Apex’s supply chain success. The Shipper & Receiver works closely with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and transporters, ensuring that every product reaches its destination on time, safely, and to the highest standard.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee incoming and outgoing deliveries at the warehouse.
- Ensure safe, accurate, and timely product handling and delivery.
- Communicate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and transporters.
- Review customer requirements, resolve complaints, and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Organize shipping schedules and coordinate with teams for smooth operations.
- Follow safety procedures, reporting hazards and ensuring compliance.
- Maintain food safety and quality standards, including allergen control, FIFO, and inspections.
- Keep accurate shipping and inventory documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous warehouse experience (food industry experience is an asset).
- Strong commitment to safety and workplace care.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English (oral and written) for clear communication and record-keeping.
