Our client is seeking an experienced Asphalt Raker to join our paving crew in Brampton. The ideal candidate must have prior experience using a lute to spread and level hot asphalt with precision and efficiency.
Job Title: Asphalt Raker (Experienced)
Location: Brampton, ON
Pay: $25 to$30/ hour
Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday, as required)

Job Responsibilities:
- Rake, spread, and level asphalt to fine grade specifications
- Use lute or rake to distribute asphalt mix on road surfaces and construction areas
- Work closely with paver operator, roller operator, and crew members to ensure smooth and even surfaces
- Assist in setting up job sites, including traffic control and site safety
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
Job Requirements:
- MUST have prior experience as an asphalt raker
- Ability to use a lute/rake efficiently and accurately
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions for extended hours
- Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented
- CSA-approved safety boots required
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
