Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable delivery driver/warehouse clerk to join our team. This is a position to ensure timely delivery of auto parts to our valued commercial customers and also to answer phones, look up parts and provide quotes for customers
Responsibilities
- To ensure timely delivery of parts to our customers
- Review orders and verify correct product prior to delivery
- Pick and stage parts for customer orders
- Pick up returns and cores
- Load and unload delivery vehicle
- Complete various warehouse activities such as receiving, order picking, putting away stock orders, staging deliveries, maintain cleanliness, etc.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our client base
- Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of company vehicle
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment for fellow employees
- Provide assistance to resolve customer issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
- Comply with policies and procedures regarding health and safety
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Must possess a High School Diploma or educational equivalent
- Must be reliable and committed
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
- Good communication (Verbal and Written)
- Have a positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to provide good customer service
- Have excellent time-management and organization skills
- Ability to perform physical work and ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Good area knowledge of Barrie and surrounding areas preferred
