Reporting to the Produce Department Manager, the Produce Specialist works with others in a fast paced, family-type atmosphere to provide professional, inviting service to customers and accurately package, label and merchandize produce products and assists all other produce department roles.

What You Bring to Our Team:
● Produce experience is considered an asset but not required
● Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
● Flexible availability from 4:30 am until 9:00 pm, seven days a week
● Ability to lift, bend and reach
● Good knife skills
● Creativity is an asset

● Answer telephone calls and receive orders
● Assist in unloading deliveries and check for accuracy and freshness
● Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory
● Create, maintain and rotate product displays
● Assist the cashiers by running cash registers when required
● Maintain impeccable cleanliness of retail and back room space
● Assist in training new team members
● Follow and ensure government regulations, company policies and procedures
● Attend occasional staff meetings
● Other assigned duties as they may arise
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.60-$18.50 per hour
