Karndean Designflooring Canada is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team in Burlington, Ontario.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an important part of that experience. You’ll build relationships with customers across Canada, help them navigate orders and product questions, work closely with colleagues across the business, and play a key role in ensuring every interaction with Karndean reflects the quality of our brand.

This position is based at our Burlington, Ontario location, conveniently located for candidates from Hamilton, Oakville, Mississauga, Milton, and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Client Support
- Act as a primary point of contact for distributors, contractors, business owners, and commercial clients across Canada.
- Process orders accurately and provide clear, proactive communication about product availability, delivery timelines, and service expectations.
- Share product information, specifications, and technical details to help customers make informed and confident decisions.
- Coordinate with logistics partners to support on-time delivery, investigate shipment discrepancies, and resolve service issues.
- Build positive, professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Represent Karndean’s commitment to professionalism, reliability, teamwork, and exceptional customer care.
Internal Coordination
- Collaborate closely with sales, warehouse, purchasing, and accounting teams to support seamless order fulfillment.
- Keep internal teams informed of relevant customer needs, trends, feedback, and service issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for customer interactions, orders, and service issues.
- Work collaboratively across departments to resolve issues efficiently and keep customers informed.
Quality, Responsiveness & Continuous Improvement
- Meet or exceed service standards for responsiveness, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and ensure customers receive timely updates when additional follow-up is required.
- Build strong product knowledge through training, experience, and collaboration with colleagues across the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication flow, and the overall customer experience.
- Take ownership of customer questions and concerns, following them through to resolution.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in doing things well, and understands that exceptional service is built through both relationships and attention to detail.
You bring:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B customer service, inside sales, or order management, ideally within a distribution, manufacturing, or product-focused environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with ERP or CRM systems.
- A proactive, solution-oriented approach and a genuine commitment to helping customers.
- The confidence to ask questions, find answers, and take ownership of issues through to resolution.
- A collaborative approach and an appreciation for working as part of a team.
