Wage: $22-$24/hour, before the additional $6/hour BC ECE Wage Enhancement

New Horizon Montessori School has been proudly providing quality childcare to families across the Lower Mainland for nearly 20 years! Our mission is to create an environment where educators can nurture each child’s natural desire to learn while supporting them in reaching their full potential.
We are currently seeking a dedicated Infant & Toddler Educator to join our team at our Langley campus. Our current certified Infant & Toddler Educator has recently begun maternity leave, and we are looking forward to welcoming a new team member who can help ensure a smooth transition and continued care for the children in our program.
Major Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and meaningful interactions with infants and toddlers in a warm, nurturing, and supportive environment
- Build and maintain positive daily communication with families while upholding New Horizon Montessori School’s high standard of customer service
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a clean, organized, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Consistently follow all health, safety, supervision, and licensing requirements
- Ensure children are released only to individuals authorized by their parents or guardians
- Collaborate with fellow educators to implement New Horizon Montessori School’s curriculum and daily programming
- Demonstrate consistent attendance, punctuality, professionalism, and appropriate workplace attire
Requirements
- Valid Early Childhood Educator (ECE) License to Practice
- Valid Infant & Toddler (I/T) License to Practice
- Current First Aid Certification
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is considered an asset
