Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Warehouse Associate specializing in <PERSON> and Crown Reach operations. This position involves managing inventory, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment within a fast-paced distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience with warehouse management systems to support seamless warehouse operations.
Duties
- Operate clamp trucks, forklifts, and order pickers safely and efficiently to move products throughout the warehouse
- Assist with order picking and packing to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock information, and process shipments
- Perform heavy lifting as required to handle products of various sizes and weights
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment
Experience
- Previous experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is preferred
- Proficiency in operating clamp trucks, forklifts, and order pickers is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with warehouse equipment maintenance is a plus
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Experience with order picking processes in a distribution setting is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment
