Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient clinical environment
- Assist dentists during a wide range of procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs and do intraoral scans when necessary
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards and infection control protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant Level II or similar role in a fast-paced dental practice
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting techniques and infection control procedures
- Proficiency with Curvehero or similar dental management software; experience with it is highly desirable
- Familiarity with digital impressions
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
- Certification in Dental Assisting required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and smooth clinic operations
