We are currently seeking Residential Appraisers to join our team across Vancouver Island, including Campbell River, Courtenay / Comox, Qualicum Beach, Parksville, Nanaimo, Duncan, the Cowichan Valley, and Greater Victoria from Sooke to Sidney.

Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to gather relevant data
- Collect and analyze property data, including comparable sales, market trends, and property features
- Prepare detailed appraisal reports that comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure all data collection is accurate, complete, and documented properly
- Apply mathematical skills to perform calculations related to property value assessments
- Maintain organized records of appraisal activities and supporting documentation
- Stay updated on local real estate market conditions and relevant regulations
- Collaborate with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to provide clear and professional communication
Experience
- Prior experience in real estate appraisal or related fields is preferred but not mandatory for candidates working towards certification
- Strong skills in data collection, with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of accounting principles as they relate to property valuation processes
- Proficiency in math for performing calculations related to appraisals
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
- Knowledge of industry standards such as CUSPAP (Canadian Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) is a plus for CRA candidates

Pay: $60,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
