About Magi Therapy
Magi Therapy has provided professional massage services at the Canadian National Exhibition since 2018. Over the years, we have built a strong reputation and a loyal customer base, with approximately 30%–40% of our clients returning each year.
Our team consists of approximately 20 practitioners, and about 80% are experienced massage professionals. During the CNE, we mainly provide chair massage and reflexology services using specialized chairs.
Position Overview
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and motivated practitioners to join our team for the 18-day CNE. Both experienced practitioners and beginners are welcome to apply. Training will be provided before the event.
Customers may select 10-, 15-, or 20-minute massage sessions. Practitioners should be comfortable working in a busy public environment and communicating with customers professionally.
Compensation
- Starting rate: $28 per completed massage hour
- Rate may increase to $30 per completed massage hour after the first three working days, based on performance, attitude, and experience
- Practitioners keep 100% of their own tips
- Daily tips may vary depending on customer service, technique, communication, and event traffic
Beginners may initially complete approximately three to four hours of massage sessions per day. On busier days, practitioners may complete six to seven hours.
Training
Successful applicants will attend approximately two training sessions, with each session lasting around two hours. Training will cover massage techniques, customer service, workflow, and event procedures.

CNE Pass Fee
- Approximately $40 for part-time practitioners
- Approximately $80 for full-time practitioners
- The pass fee will be fully reimbursed to practitioners who maintain perfect attendance
Qualifications
- Massage, reflexology, wellness, or customer-service experience is an asset
- Beginners with a strong willingness to learn are welcome
- Friendly, professional, and comfortable communicating with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work in a busy event environment
- Physically able to provide multiple chair-massage sessions throughout the day
- Available for part or all of the 18-day CNE
Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
