Portrait Sales Consultant
Full-Time | In-Person | Port Coquitlam, BC
Fontaine Photography is an award-winning portrait studio serving women, families, couples, and business owners across the Greater Vancouver area.
We're looking for a confident, driven sales professional who loves helping people make buying decisions and gets excited about generating revenue.
This role is primarily focused on in-person sales appointments, image reveals, product sales, and client follow-up. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys sales, is motivated by results, and thrives in a high-connection, relationship-based sales environment.
What You'll Be Doing
In-Person Sales Appointments
- Conduct image reveal and ordering appointments
- Help clients select their favourite images and artwork
- Guide clients through albums, wall art, and digital collections
- Recommend products based on each client's goals
- Confidently close sales and maximize revenue opportunities
Virtual Sales Appointments
- Conduct virtual ordering appointments when required
- Present images and products over Zoom
- Guide clients through purchasing decisions
Sales Leadership & Booking Team Support
- Review recorded sales and booking calls
- Provide feedback and coaching to booking team members
- Answer questions and support team members with objection handling and sales strategies
- Help improve scripts, processes, and overall conversion rates
- Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for growth and improved sales performance
Sales & Revenue Responsibilities
- Track sales activity and performance metrics
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and client records
- Contribute ideas to improve sales performance and client experience
- Support revenue growth initiatives across the studio
Who We're Looking For
- Previous sales experience required
- Experience selling high-ticket products or services preferred
- Comfortable discussing pricing and asking for the sale
- Strong objection handling skills
- Confident in person, over the phone, and on Zoom
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Coachable and eager to improve
Bonus Points If You Have
- Photography sales experience
- Luxury retail experience
- Coaching, beauty, wellness, or personal branding sales experience
- CRM experience
- Experience leading or mentoring sales teams
Compensation
- $25/hour starting wage
- Commission structure: $6000-$12K+ additional a year based on sales
