Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Line Cook/Dishwasher to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality food presentation
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cookware promptly and thoroughly
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Stock and organize kitchen supplies, ingredients, and utensils for efficient workflow
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by handling various tasks as needed, including meal assembly and plating
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with health regulations and safety standards
Experience
- Prior experience in serving, food preparation, or food service is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals
- Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations is beneficial
- Familiarity with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness standards will help ensure success in this role
