We’re Hiring – Cabinet Sander / Finishing Department
Horizon Cabinetry is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Sander to join our growing team in Barrie, Ontario.
We specialize in high-end custom cabinetry and architectural millwork throughout Simcoe County, Muskoka, and the GTA. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Sand MDF, wood, veneer, and painted components to prepare for finishing.
- Inspect parts to ensure they meet Horizon’s quality standards.
- Repair minor imperfections prior to paint or stain.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work closely with our finishing and production teams to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
- Previous sanding, woodworking, cabinet shop, or finishing experience is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to producing quality work.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
