Production Paint Stripping (PPS) is a leading provider of paint stripping and metal cleaning services, having serviced the automotive and aerospace industries of southern Ontario for 30 years. PPS operates paint stripping facilities in Ontario and the United States.
We are looking for hard working, driven individuals to join our team! PPS has one Midnight Shift General Labourer opening.
Schedule: Sunday nights to Thursday mornings.
Shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
What You Will Do
- Adhere to PPS’ and the Canadian Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
- Adhere to PPS’ company policies and Canadian and Ontario employment legislation.
- Pack and load customer parts, as instructed.
- Pressure washing customer parts according to procedures, quality standards, and safety standards.
- Stack & unstack materials.
- Arrive at work on time.
- Demonstrate a friendly and constructive attitude toward employees and customers.
- Maintain general housekeeping of work area.
- Work as a team player to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work alongside, and under the guidance of, the instructions provided by supervisor.
- Report all issues to the Supervisor or Plant Manager immediately.
- Operate the Overhead Crane and Forklift as required – after training.
- Demonstrate a considerate, friendly, and constructive attitude toward fellow employees and the customer.
- Participate in additional PPS-specific training, as applicable.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, is preferred.
- Understanding of basic math calculations and strong attention to detail for inventory counts and order picking.
- Able to work safely and efficiently.
- Forklift license is a plus.
- Organizational skills.
- Professional oral and written interpersonal communications.
- Training will be provided.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) with or without accommodation.
- Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.
- Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
- Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces.
- Ability to wear as PPE as mandated.
Compensation
- Overtime after 40 hours.
- Shift premium for afternoons and midnights.
- Bonus incentives.
