We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 310S Automotive Service Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs including engine, transmission, brake systems, and electrical components
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with vehicle inspections and provide recommendations for repairs or maintenance
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders
- Maintain accurate documentation of services performed on each vehicle
Experience
- Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant mechanic experience is essential
- Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and maintenance practices
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) as needed during repairs
- Experience working with automotive assembly or mechanical systems is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about vehicle issues and repairs
- Familiarity with vehicle diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
