This individual will posses strong organizational skills, be able to keep accurate and complete records. Previous housekeeping experience especially in a hotel setting is an asset.
Have an eye for detail and quality control. This person is responsible to assist the housekeeping management with the day to day operations of the department, namely to clean rooms, keep stock levels at optimum range (on each floor and on each housekeeping cart), ensure Ramada Standards are being kept. Operate commercial washing and drying machines, and other laundry related tasks.
DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Ø To clean and ensure quality control (as per Ramada Standards) of all guest rooms.
Ø Assist the Executive Housekeeper and Assistant Ex. Housekeeper with any duties necessary to enable the efficient operation of the rooms division.
Ø Clean guest rooms (dusting, cleaning, wiping, vacuuming, garbage and linen removal) , as required and/or directed by executive housekeeper or assistant .Housekeeper.
Ø Supply the housekeepers with stock for the maids carts during the day, as required.
Ø Ensure proper levels of housekeeping stock located in maids closets on each floor.
Ø Ensure cleanliness in all areas by completing public area rounds and inspections
Ø Compile up to date and accurate information on each guest room, including extra cleaning completed, maintenance requests etc. (Log book)
Ø Keep a schedule of additional cleaning duties performed in the guest rooms and common areas.
Ø ALL occupied rooms will need to be inspected each day.
Ø Communicate with the front desk staff regularly to ensure efficiency.
Ø Other assigned duties from management
Previous experience in commercial or hotel environment would be an asset.
