Your Impact at IMC
As Talent & Culture Partner, reporting to the VP, People & Culture, you will play a key role in shaping and sustaining a positive, inclusive, and engaging workplace culture at IMC. You will partner with leaders, employees, and committees to strengthen the employee experience and foster a collaborative and respectful environment where people can thrive.
You will provide practical HR guidance that enables effective people management and consistent HR practices across the organization, while also leading recruitment and onboarding to attract talent and create a strong, welcoming start for new employees. Through your contributions, you will help build engaged teams and support IMC’s mission and continued impact.
What You Will Own
Workplace culture, employee engagement and committee facilitation: Help shape and sustain an inclusive, engaging, and respectful workplace by partnering with leaders and employees across IMC. Facilitate and support employee-led committees, including recognition, health and safety, DEIA, and social committees, helping bring initiatives to life and strengthen employee connection, engagement, and workplace culture.
Recruitment and onboarding excellence: Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding, from role definition to successful integration, ensuring a strong, welcoming start for new employees.
HR advisory and employee relations: Provide day-to-day guidance to managers and employees on policies, practices, and employee matters, supporting effective people management and consistent, compliant HR practices.
Performance and development support: Support performance management processes, including annual reviews, timelines, and training, helping managers build capability.
HR operations and programs: Implement and maintain HR policies, programs, and procedures, while overseeing HRIS (ADP), benefits, pension updates, and employee records with accuracy and confidentiality.
Organizational collaboration: Participate as an active member of the ACE team, connecting insights and supporting collaboration across the organization.
What You Will Bring
· 7+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist role
· CHRP designation
· Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
· Experience supporting employee committees and driving engagement initiatives
· Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practices
