Recruiting: Qualified therapists for online clinic + year-long business mentorship
Are you a clinical counsellor or psychologist in British Columbia who wants to move into private practice but you lack the skills, finances or confidence to go it alone? The Hope. Joy. Thrive (HJT) program is taking on a new cohort of therapists to learn and work at the Hope & Joy Online Therapy Clinic serving the people of British Columbia.
We are recruiting 3 therapists to provide online therapy at the Hope & Joy Therapy Clinic, launching in October 2026. As part of the clinic, they will receive membership to Hope. Joy. Thrive, a year long mentorship program designed to support therapists to build their own private practices.
The program
This specialist program is designed to teach therapists how to build their own independent private practice over the course of a 12 month mentorship program, while they provide therapy at our online clinic. You will receive bespoke mentorship alongside full clinic infrastructure, earning money while you learn how to launch the career you want. At the end of the 12 months, you can leave to launch your own private practice and take your caseload with you or you can stay on as an associate. This is a twist on the traditional associates model where clinics take a cut indefinitely and you cannot leave with your clients! Like other clinics, monthly group consultation will be available so you can feel like you’re part of a home base and consult and learn with colleagues.
Seem too good to be true? HJT simply believes that we should be encouraging and empowering each other to have sustainable, healthy work lives and financial security. Why not share our skills and experience to benefit your private practice journey? It benefits us because we receive a 40% clinic cut for a year, and it benefits you because you’ll have 100% revenue once you leave with your practice ready to go! If you find you love the clinic too much to leave, we can discuss staying on once the year is up.
