Job Summary
We are seeking an 10+ years experienced Construction Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction processes, and proficiency with construction management software. This role involves supervising onsite activities, coordinating with teams, and maintaining project timelines and budgets to deliver successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and construction crews to optimize productivity and quality of work
- Monitor progress and implement corrective actions as needed to stay on schedule
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide onsite work
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, or Primavera P6 for project tracking and reporting
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to meet project financial goals
- Enforce safety policies and conduct safety meetings to promote a safe working environment
- Prepare reports on project status, issues, and risks for stakeholders
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in construction projects of varying complexity
- Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or similar tools
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents accurately
- Excellent understanding of quality control procedures and safety regulations in the construction industry
- Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and project coordination
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation
- Effective communication and leadership skills to manage diverse teams on-site
- Relevant certifications or licenses in construction management or related fields are preferred
