Job Description
At Valemount IDA TelePharmacy our goal is to provide our patients with all their pharmacy needs. We are innovative problem solvers that focus on finding a suitable solution for every one of our patients.
As a Pharmacy Assistant you will be responsible for processing and preparing prescriptions, assisting patients in person and over the phone, cashier duties, preparation of pill packs, preparing deliveries, ordering and inventory management, and assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy. This is a tele-pharmacy site, the pharmacist is off site and helps the staff, patients, and checks all prescriptions virtually over video and voice equipment.
The successful candidate will have:
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task.
- Basic computer skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Previous Pharmacy experience is an asset, but not required.
Compensation is negotiable and will be based on experience level of the successful candidate.
