Compensation: $35.00 per hour + Company Vehicle
West-Can Floor & Home is looking for an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented Commercial/Retail Flooring Sales Associate to join our growing team. This is a key position within our company, working directly with the CEO to manage commercial flooring projects from estimating through completion.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Read and interpret commercial blueprints and specifications.
- Review commercial contracts and ensure project requirements are understood and followed.
- Visit commercial job sites to take accurate measurements and verify project details.
- Prepare accurate estimates and quotations for commercial flooring projects.
- Work closely with customers, contractors, designers, and suppliers throughout each project.
- Maintain organized customer files, project documentation, and sales records.
- Enter and manage information within the company's ERP system.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while developing long-term client relationships.
- Assist with additional sales and project coordination duties as required.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years of commercial sales experience (flooring industry experience is a strong asset).
- Minimum 3 years of ERP software experience.
- Experience reading commercial blueprints and construction drawings.
- Strong understanding of commercial estimating and project coordination.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
