About the engagement
We're staffing a testing team for a major telecommunications BSS/CRM transformation. The programme is moving off a legacy Salesforce stack onto a new future-state platform, and the testing focus is the new platform plus the interim touchpoints between the old and new stacks — not regression of the current Salesforce environment.
Testing spans customer and operational channels (self-serve, care, dealer, field sales, and the field technician app) and covers end-to-end flow validation, test data preparation, data sanity checks across databases and the data lake, and validation of new business reporting.
This is a growing team: two roles start in August, ramping to 5–6 FTE through October–November 2026.
Role 1 — Test Lead (Senior)
You'll own test strategy and planning, drive end-to-end flow validation across channels, and coordinate with business and technical stakeholders.
- Define and own the test strategy and test plans for the future-state platform
- Own E2E flow validation across self-serve, care, dealer, field sales and the field technician app
- Coordinate stakeholders across business, delivery and data teams
- Oversee test data preparation and environment readiness
Requirements: strong BSS / telco testing background, proven test strategy and planning experience, E2E flow ownership, and stakeholder coordination.
Role 2 — QA Analyst / Tester
Hands-on test design and execution supporting the lead.
- Write and execute test cases across channels and E2E flows
- Prepare test data and run data sanity checks
- Log, track and manage defects through resolution
Requirements: solid test case writing and execution, test data preparation, and defect logging.
As the team ramps, we're also seeking:
- Automation QA — regression and API/UI automation, framework setup, CI/CD awareness
- Data / Reporting Tester — SQL, data validation, reporting validation, data-lake sanity checks.
Pay: $72,602.64-$129,590.62 per year
Experience:
- BSS/OSS or telco domain testing: 5 years (required)
- software testing/QA: 8 years (preferred)
- owning test strategy and test planning: 8 years (preferred)
- leading (E2E) flow validation across multiple channels: 5 years (preferred)
- writing and executing test cases: 5 years (preferred)
- test data preparation: 5 years (preferred)
- API/UI automation frameworks: 5 years (preferred)
- SQL proficiency and data validation: 5 years (preferred)
