Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Take customer orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, dining area, and food prep spaces in accordance with food safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation and food handling tasks as needed, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising service quality.
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
- Follow food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
