We are seeking a talented and professional Licensed Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. Duties
- Provide a wide range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles and products
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment
- Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and meet sales goals
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
- Build strong client relationships through personalized service and effective communication
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to deliver innovative services
Skills
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to ensure client satisfaction
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety standards within the salon environment
- Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining genuine client relationships
- Strong organizational skills for managing appointments and maintaining a tidy workspace
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Retail sales experience is a plus, as well as front desk or administrative skills for smooth salon operations
