Expedition Chef –July 7 to July 22
We’re looking for an Expedition Chef to join our crew aboard The Curve of Time, an 89-ft side trawler operating research voyages along the BC coast.
This role is focused on cooking and galley operations, supporting a professional expedition crew in a live-aboard marine environment. We will be conducting marine mammal surveys in some of the most beautiful fjords and inlets of British Columbia.
This is a 15 days on position with a travel allowance to and from Vancouver. We board and disembarked the vessel in Kitamat BC.

Primary Responsibilities
- Plan, provision, and prepare meals for up to 12 people
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks for long workdays
- Accommodate dietary requirements and allergies
- Manage food storage, inventory, and waste
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe galley
Requirements
- Chef experience
- Comfortable cooking in a marine or remote environment
- Strong organization and provisioning skills
- Team-oriented and adaptable
- Food Safe certification
Assets
- Marine, expedition, or crew-cooking experience
- Experience cooking for crews or groups
