Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyperson Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be proficient in multiple construction tasks. As a Journeyperson Carpenter, you will be responsible for executing high-quality carpentry work for multi-unit properties and single family dwellings while ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.
Responsibilities
- Carpentry Work: Perform all aspects of carpentry, including framing and finishing.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to complete projects accurately.
- Installation & Repairs: Install doors, windows, trim, and other fixtures, and perform repairs as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
- Material Handling: Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision using hand and power tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, contractors, and clients to meet project goals and deadlines.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address issues on-site to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a carpenter with a comprehensive understanding of carpentry techniques.
- Experience with custom builds and renovations is an assest
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as required.
- Valid driver's license required for travel between job sites.
- Must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
