Our team employs concrete cutters and labourers year round! There is a growing need for concrete cutter operators in Alberta and no shortage of concrete that needs cutting.
- During winter, our team is only hiring experienced concrete cutters. If you are looking to start new, with no experience, we will be taking on new trainees in March 2024!
Our team has a inhouse extensive training program meant to help you excel in our industry.
We provide you with all of the Health & Safety training you require
Safety gear is provided – with the exception of safety boots
You will be partnered with a senior operator to help build your skills and confidence
Once you start excelling, you will be provided with a lot of work hours!
THE ONLY REQUIREMENTS YOU NEED TO APPLY:
A Class 5 Drivers License
Knowledge of the English language
Able to lift 50 lbs safely
Be a team player
Our team can teach you the rest!
We will teach you how to operate Slab Saws, Chop Saws, Breakers, Wall Saws, Wire Saws, and much more thru our inhouse extensive training program!
Already know how to cut concrete? That’s great! CanWest will base your starting salary based on your experience!
