Overview
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Laundry Attendant to join our team, working three days per week on Wednesday, Fridays, and Sunday.
The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of laundry facilities, ensuring that linens and towels are properly washed, dried, folded, and stored to meet our high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Duties
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers and dryers efficiently and safely
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items including linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned according to established procedures and standards
- Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry for distribution or storage
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing work surfaces and equipment
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
Requirements
- Knowledge of laundry processes, including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Reliable attendance on scheduled days (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday)
- Ability to lift moderate loads (up to 40 pounds) and stand for extended periods during shift
