Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in account reconciliation, and supporting various accounting functions. This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse accounting software and contribute to the financial health of our organization. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting tools, and a solid understanding of financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other platforms for bookkeeping and financial reporting
- Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and account analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Conduct auditing procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently using relevant payroll systems
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and ensure data integrity
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, and other relevant platforms
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, and account reconciliation
- Experience with bank reconciliation, auditing, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with payroll processing and financial services industry standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret financial data and prepare comprehensive reports
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good communication skills for collaboration across departments

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
