Associate Lawyer Position
We are seeking an Associate Lawyer to become an integral part of our team at DeRusha Law Firm (established firm at Matheson and Tomken, Mississauga). Our areas of law focus on Family, Mediation, Wills and Estates, Criminal and Civil Litigation. The ideal candidate will have at least some experience in these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day client and file work, including communication with clients through phone and email
- Assisting the Senior lawyers in drafting and processing materials
- Keeping track of upcoming deadlines
- Organization of files
- Perform all other office tasks as required
Requirements:
- Some experience in the required field of Law
- Proficient in Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of current court rules and procedures
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Manage to work as a team player
Salary based on experience.
