Job Summary
Gobind Sarvar School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Teacher/Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a passion for the French language and culture through engaging instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver dynamic French language lessons aligned with Alberta curriculum outcomes
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages language acquisition
- Utilize interactive teaching strategies to build student fluency in speaking, reading, and writing French
- Integrate cultural elements into lessons to enhance understanding of Francophone traditions
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to support cross-disciplinary learning opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education Degree with a specialization or fluency in French

Additional Details
- New graduates and student teachers are encouraged to apply
- Alberta Teaching Certificate is an asset but not required
- Experience teaching French as a second language is preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for language education and student engagement
Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
