We are looking to hire a full-time, permanent driver with craning certification to operate our Flat Deck Trucks and mobile Hiab Crane when required.
Duties:
- Operate Class 3 trucks and Hiab cranes in a safe and efficient manner
- Transport materials to and from job sites while ensuring compliance with all driving regulations and company policies
- Perform safe and efficient product unloading at customer locations using Hiab crane and manual handling as required
- Assist with offloading and placement of materials, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance on trucks and cranes
- Lift, move, and position heavy materials, equipment, and machinery using the crane
- Ensure proper rigging techniques are used for all lifting operations
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating vehicles and equipment
- Communicate with team members and customers to coordinate deliveries and lifting operations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, crane operations, and inspections
Qualifications:
- Appropriate Driver’s License eg: Class 3 W/ Air brake endorsement
- Mechanical Aptitude an asset
- CraneSafe Certification required for crane operator positions
- Forklift Certification an asset (not required)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must always act in a polite and professional manner
- Ability to Lift up to 100 lbs regularly
- PPE must always be worn
- Good interpersonal skills to communicate with customers and dispatchers.
