Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Vending Operator to join our Vancouver PopMart team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vending machine operations, ensuring optimal product availability, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires route driving to various locations, maintaining inventory, and performing heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities
- Drive to assigned routes to service and restock vending machines.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure machines are stocked with popular products.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on vending machines to ensure proper functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize sales techniques such as upselling to maximize revenue from vending operations.
- Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and pricing adjustments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of vending machines and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with management to identify trends in product sales and make recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in customer service or sales is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required for restocking machines.
- Strong mathematical skills for inventory tracking and pricing adjustments.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Familiarity with route driving and logistics is advantageous.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving operational efficiency.
