6ixCoffee is looking for a friendly, reliable barista to join our growing coffee catering team. We serve high-quality coffee at pop-ups, private events, and community activations, and we want someone who enjoys creating a great customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
No barista experience is required — paid training is provided. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, wants to learn coffee service, and is available for weekend and event-based shifts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based drinks, iced drinks, and other specialty beverages.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Set up and clean down the coffee station for events and pop-ups.
- Handle orders, payments, and basic cash management.
- Keep the workstation clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Must have the ability to transport equipment, supplies, and materials for pop-up and event-based service.
Requirements
- Comfortable working weekends and event-based shifts.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Punctual, dependable, and professional.
- Able to lift supplies and stand for extended periods.
- A valid driver’s licence and access to transportation.
Nice to have
- Experience using espresso machines.
- Previous barista or food service experience.
- Interest in coffee, hospitality, and brand events.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
