Job Description:
The Quality Inspection professional ensures quality follow-up and control with suppliers and partners;
They act as a liaison between clients, internal teams, and service providers, while ensuring compliance with quality requirements;
They produce clear and structured reports and make recommendations aimed at improving quality, reducing risks, and ensuring customer satisfaction;
Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector position are:
- Receive inspection requests from clients;
- Assess priorities and plan inspection routes according to inspectors’ specialties and availability;
- Coordinate travel, logistics, and required documentation for each inspection;
- Support inspectors in the preparation and writing of their reports;
- Issue, classify, and archive reports in client systems in a rigorous and structured manner;
- Ensure inspection files and quality documentation are kept up to date;
- Develop and maintain a basic understanding of inspection processes and supplier quality assurance requirements;
- Identify recurring non-conformities and collaborate with teams to propose improvement opportunities;
- Participate in the optimization of internal processes related to inspection management;
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients and inspectors;
- Ensure regular follow-up on inspection progress and compliance with timelines;
- Maintain a high level of service and customer satisfaction;
- Perform all other related tasks;
Requirements for the Quality Inspector position are:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inspections or quality assurance;
- Holds a CWB level 1 certification
- Thoroughness, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously;
- Excellent written skills in French and English in order to communicate with francophone and anglophone clients, suppliers, and partners;
- Comfort with computer tools and document management systems;
