Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 309A Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems within residential and industrial/commercial environments. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and the use of various hand and power tools. The electrician will ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards and project specifications, contributing to the efficient operation of our facilities. Experience with new builds, audio video/wifi systems, and renovation projects is highly desirable. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new installations to ongoing maintenance, supporting the safety and functionality of our infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using schematics and blueprints
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform electrical work
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical components
- Assist with renovation projects by upgrading or replacing existing electrical systems
- Work with low voltage wiring and control systems
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards
- Collaborate with construction teams during new builds or upgrades to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed for compliance and future reference
Requirements
- Valid 309A Electrical License or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a 309A electrician
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Experience working with low voltage systems
- Ability to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams accurately
- Hands-on experience with renovation projects involving electrical upgrades or modifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Strong commitment to safety standards and regulations in electrical work

Pay: $27.41-$49.33 per hour
